On the white sands of Embleton bay, lapped by clear green seas intermingled with the dark blues of what lies in the depths. The dramatic Dunstanburgh castle rises out of the sea perched on its rocky outcrop beneath sun fringed low cloud. I had already done a soft pastel sketch at Newton beach before walking along to Embleton bay where I also sketched this scene. I used the pastel sketch as reference to paint the scene in oils from which this print was made.
Each card is individually sealed in a cellophane slip and comes with a plain white envelope.
