Perched dramatically on top of the high rocky outcrop , the magnificent Lindisfarne Castle sits surveying all around it as the vivid greens and deep blues of the calm sea gently lap the rock and shingle shoreline. An unseasonably warm April morning was spent sketching this scene on the foreshore before using the sketch and some reference photos taken at the time to complete this original oil painting on canvas board back in my studio.
This original painting is supplied unframed as tastes in framing are such a personal choice.
